Tampa Bay Lightning – Nikita Kucherov

Kucherov has managed to increase his total points every season since he accumulated 18 as a rookie in the NHL during the 2013/14 season. His career-high of 100 points in the previous season has ranked him 3rd in the NHL League. He also managed to set career highs in the NHL when it comes to power-play points and shots on goal. The right wing was tied for an eleventh place in the league with a total of 7 match-winning goals and scored a minimum of 30 goals in each of the last three seasons.

Washington Capitals – Alex Ovechkin

The captain for the Capitals led the league with 49 goals in the previous season which was one shy of accumulating 50 for the 8th time in his career for the NHL. The 32-year-old also led the NHL in terms of shots on goal for the 12th time. He has a total of 300 goals spread across 12 full seasons in the NHL. In the previous season, he boasted with 17 power-play goals which are the fifth successive season he managed to score that many. During the playoffs last season, he managed to win the Conn Smythe Trophy with 27 points.

New Jersey Devils – Taylor Hall

Hall was the first player for the New Jersey Devils to claim the Hart Trophy as the NHL MVP following career highs in nearly every statistical category, such as shooting percentage, power-play points, rating, points, assists, and goals. The left wing managed to score seven match-winning goals which included 3 in overtime to assist New Jersey in qualifying for the playoffs for the first time since the 2011/12 season. Hall boasted with 38 points in a personal 26-match point streak stretching from 2 January to 6 March.

Chicago Blackhawks – Patrick Kane

Kane was leading the Blackhawks in terms of scoring for three consecutive seasons with a total of 76 points in 82 matches. The right wing managed to score a minimum of 21 goals in each of his 11 seasons in the NHL and boasts with 828 points. As a 3-time Stanley Cup champion, Patrick Kane has managed to win the Conn Smythe Trophy during the 2012/13 season and hasn’t missed a single game in the last three seasons.

Boston Bruins – Brad Marchand

Marchand has managed to accumulate 85 points in each of the last two seasons which included a career high in the NHL of 51 assists in the previous season and managed to score a minimum of 34 goals in each of the last three. The left wing accumulated 23 power-play points along with seven match-winning goals in the previous season. This is the 6th time he has managed to be plus-20 in the league.
